This is perfect timing. I have a pretty funny story that happened on our camping trip this past weekend. We drove down to Glen Rose, Texas to John's parents land. John was doing a 10 mile trail run in Waco. I was suppose to do it too but you know the ankles....
Well after the race on Saturday we got back to the land and decided to walk aroud the land. Alittle back story their neighbors have a deer that is a pet. They feed him gum, pop tarts, or you name it. His name is Dave and wears a bandana thing around his neck so no one shots him. From what John has said about this deer he is a really good pet. Well.....
We started walking back to the camper and we hear something coming towards us and at first John thought it was a mountain lion. But instead it was Dave and he was happy to see us. We said our hellos to him and decided to keep walking back to the land which was a good 1/2 mile away.
He was walking behind us an he licks my leg... Then he walks behind a bush and charges John like he wants to fight him. Since he is a pet he knows what no means. So John said no and he started walking again. Im not kidding when I say I was slightly scared, but it was kind of funny too... Dave did this all the way to the camper. He would think John wasnt paying attention and would go after him. This dang deer was trying to fight over me.
We got back to the camper and Dave would not leave. We decided to leave earlier from our camping trip because of this dang horny pet deer. This is why wild animals dont make good pets. But on the way home all we could do was laugh about the incident!!!!
