How far along?

Man time is flying by so dang fast! Watching the little guy in the right hand corner makes each day even more real that this little guy will be here very soon. So as of today Im 32 weeks 4 days!

Maternity clothes?

Yes!!! And John's pajama pants, boxers, work shirts, and tshirts.

Sleep?

Im getting pretty good sleep. Miles still lets me sleep at night and really doesnt wake me up moving to much. It's our boxer Emma that wakes me up the most. I get up to go pee at least once every night. Its a given.

Best moment this week?

Knowing that one of my friends from the Bump might be going into labor any day now. Im so very excited for her!!!! Love ya MrsJT09!

I went to the doctor this past Friday and the doctor measured my belly and it is measuring 3 weeks ahead of my due date. The doctor told me we will be having a big baby!!! We will do a growth ultrasound at 37-38 weeks if I hadnt gone into labor yet and go from there. I told him I would like to be induced on my due date at all possible. So I guess we will see what happens!!

Well Im back to the dang steak fingers and mac & cheese. Oh and since this week is Christmas Im really looking forward to cornbread dressing!!!

Our 3rd Christmas together!!!

If anyone knows me in real life 3 is by far my favorite number and that number plays a huge role in some important things that have happened to me. So this Christmas is our 3rd time spending it together so I wanted to make it a little special. We decided to do a real tree. I have never had a real tree and so far it has been really good. Its amazing that a tree can live out of the ground for as long as it has. Here are a few pictures to share:

How far along?

In 3 days I will be 7 1/2 months pregnant. I cant believe how fast time flies when your having fun! 

Miles is getting so big. My belly at times feels like I have a wave going on. It makes me loose my stomach like being on a roller coaster. We go Thursday for our 3d/4d ultrasound and cant wait to share that with you guys!! So ready to meet our little guy!

Maternity clothes?

I have to admit that I really hate maternity jeans. Ive been living in my Big Star jeans and wearing the bella band with it. Clothes are not my friend right now. So happy I have a job that I wear scrubs!  Really not looking forward to Christmas Eve when I have to get all dressed up for the celebration. Wished pajamas were considered dressed up!

Sleep?

Sleep is sleep. Miles really doesn't wake me up at night. I get a horrible hot flash and have to get up and go pee. Then the dang dogs start waking me up around 645 on my day off. Makes me so mad. Miles wakes up to around 630 and kicks and kicks so its really hard to go back to sleep. I think sleeping in is a thing in the past.

Best moment this week?

We officially finished the room!! I really think it turned out super cute. Without John's help I dont know what I would have done. He made the guitars and did alot of other things around the room to make it looks so wonderful. Here is the finished product minus the chair we are getting from Target:

The quote says "We are the music makers, and the dreamers of dreams." John loved this quote and had to put it on the wall. The chair will go right underneath it!! Having this done really makes me feel like its really real. We are gonna be parents in 10 weeks!

Food cravings:

Right this very moment I want to make sugar cookies and decorate them! My sweet tooth has kicked in big time. Ive eaten more sweet stuff than I have in years.

Letters for Miles Room!

Yesterday while John was out running I started working on the letters for Miles room. Ive done so many letters for friends that I cant believe Im actually doing my own!! Three of the letters are fabric that I used decoupage and wax paper to make the letters hard. Then I used an exact-o-knife to cut the letters to the actual wood. I let it dry for a few days. The material was actually pretty easy to put on! It was the cutting right up against the letter that was hard. It took me a total of two hours to get it all done but it was worth it. Here is my finished product:

Im still waiting on the cover for the changing table but it looks like the M of his name. I think they turned out pretty good!!! Im no picky about my letters Im sure I will take them back down and add some to them. The black L is actually fabric that has musical notes on it but in the picture you cant see it. Once the room is all done I will post a picture of it all. The bedding should be here around the 21st! I cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How far along?

Gotta do two weeks again! Sorry for being a slacker! This week I will be 7 months pregnant! I cant believe how fast time has flown by! We officially have 12 weeks and 3 days til our little guy makes it here. Unless the doctor thinks he needs to come earlier! 

Maternity clothes?

Gotta love them! I really need to go buy some maternity jeans that I actually like. Ive been living in my Big Star jeans and using my bella band but its starting to get alittle on the uncomfortable side. 

Sleep?

I get some pretty good sleep still. I get the normal wake up and go pee still. I now officially cant sleep past 7 o'clock. Even if I go to bed late!

Best moment this week?

Knowing that I officially passed the Gestational Diabetes test and I'm not anemic. Here is a funny picture of me. The toes are almost gone.

Gestational Diabetes Drink

So I went to the doctor today and everything looks great! I'm measuring a week ahead still. He told me that we will do a growth U/S at 38 weeks! So excited to see Miles again! But before seeing the doctor I drank the Fruit Punch sugar drink with 50 grams of sugar. That is equal to a little over 4 tablespoons of sugar in one felt swoop on a empty stomach. Oh man did that make me feel super funny. Felt like I was on drugs or something. When you don't eat tons of sugar on a daily basis it is like shock to your system. I wont know the results til Monday.

After the test we went an ate at this awesome fish place and pigged out on fried catish!! Gotta love Texas. But I could not even drink Sweet tea. Anything sweet sounds awful right!  Cant believe we are under 100 days! EEEEEEEE!!!!

How far along?

Im doing two weeks in this post!! Today Im 25 weeks 4 days!! Im a few days away from being under 100 days away from meeting our little guy!! I will be in third trimester November 10th! Wooohooooo!
 Miles is the size of an eggplant now.

Sleep?

Sleep is sleep.With weird crazy pregnancy dreams. I had  a dream last night that a doctor needed blood from the baby and the placenta and he wasn't sure where he was getting it from on the first drawl. So he would kink the tubing that drew the blood and it would make Miles kick me so hard. He said if he kicked that was from the placenta. Weird but ok...

Best moment this week?

That my cousins and Aunt are hosting my baby shower for this weekend!! Im also very excited that John's mom is coming into town. I haven't seen her in almost two months and boy has my belly changed since then. She is staying with us from Thursday-Sunday which is not enough but we will take it!

The belly has really grown in the last week. The Round ligament pain is not very comfortable. It likes to change sides. Here is me with my hair 5 inches shorter too. Its growing on me!

Food cravings:

This past week was Respiratory Care Week at work. All there was at work was horrible bad food. It was so yummy and ate way to much. So as of right now all I want is salads, vegetables, and soup.

How far along?

24 weeks 2 days
I will be staying at this fruit/vegetable for a few weeks.Your baby isn't just sitting around (on your bladder) doing nothing, he's working hard preparing for life outside the womb—perfecting his lungs and packing on the pounds. He'll gain ½ pound this week alone.  Baby's got a fully developed inner ear now. This means his sense of balance is working and he can tell whether he's hanging upside down or right side up. He can also feel you moving, so go ahead, pop in your favorite tunes and boogie.

Maternity clothes?

Yes!! I just bought my dress Im wearing to my first baby shower! 

Sleep?

Im sleeping with a pregnancy pillow that is wicked awesome by the way. It is really funny watching me get out of it in the middle of the night but it is helping so much with the sciatic nerve pain I was having.

Best moment this week?

My favorite moment this week was the finishing of the guitars. John did such a good job on them!!! They turned out perfect! I know our little guy will love them!! Here is a picture of the finished product:

The one that looks yellow is actually a green color. Because of the lighting I could not get it to look right on the camera.

Food cravings:

 I love sweet tea!!! Thats all!!! Im actually going to say Im starting to get tired of Chickfila. When I told John I was getting burned out with it his jaw dropped. I think its because Ive eaten it the last six months at least 2-3 times a week. Im down to one time a week now.

Belly button in or out?

I cant believe it but my belly button is actually starting to do things. I had a deep belly button so I just knew it would not do much. I was so wrong. It is very shallow now. I bet it pops out or at least stays even.

Movement:

He is one busy little boy in there!! I love it!! He has his periods were I expect it to happen because he moves at the same time every day. 8-10pm for sure!

What I miss?

I wished that pregnancy pillow didnt take up so much room in our bed. John and I cant even lay next to each other like we use to because of it. I will be happy to get rid of it when this little guy comes!

What I'm looking forward to:

Im looking forward to the baby shower my Aunt and cousins are giving me Nov 5th!!! EEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Milestones:

We made it to Vday with no issues!!! Im so much in love with this little guy!

On a side note my grandmother decided that after looking on Etsy that someone else making the bedding would be a better idea. So I wanted to share what it will kind of look like. Im chaning it up just alittle.

So instead of the teal in the middle Im doing black(where ever that teal fabric is it will be black). The satin ribbon wont be there either. The sheet will be the dark grey color and the bed skirt will be all lines and no circles in the middle. The blanket up at the top will have 4 squares in the middle instead of just one big piece of fabric and will look totally different. Im so excited and cant wait to get it!!!!

Started on the Guitars for the wall!!!

John really wanted to do some woodwork in the room so here is the beginning stages of the guitars. He cut out the guitars using some kind of wood that is pretty much saw dust glued together. Cant remember the name of it. Thanks pregnancy brain!!! He needed a belt sander to sand the sides of the guitar that we got a steal on at a local pawn shop by our house! Here is them cut without paint:

Im totally impressed with his wood working talents! Happy that he could do something in the room that he would be proud of! We went to Home Depot yesterday and took the blanket I bought off  Etsy as my inspiration blanket and matched the green and the charcoal color on the groovy guitar material. Here is the beginning part of our painting project:

He is going to make holes in the middle of the guitars and put wood behind it and paint the middle. Cant wait for the end result of it and see what it looks like on the wall!! It will look so good! More pictures to come once it is up on the wall.

How far along?

22 weeks 4 days
Watch what you say -- baby is now able to hear outside noise from down in the womb. Studies show that baby finds gentle music and your own voice most soothing. Nipples are starting to sprout, and that little face is fully formed. And, baby's starting to settle into sleep cycles, snoozing about 12 to 14 hours a day. It shouldn't be hard to figure out when -- just pay attention to those kicks as they start and stop.

Maternity clothes?

Yes!! I really need to go buy me more pants!

Sleep?

The charlie horses have been staying at bay but little guy wakes me up moving now. I dont mind it though. I really enjoy knowing he is doing good. Like the paragraph above says you will start to learn his sleep cycles that is so true. 7-9pm He is super active and 5 am- 8 am very active!!

Best moment this week?

Is starting to work on the baby bedding with my Nannie!! I love seeing her ideas come alive. Seeing my mom and my grandmothers excitement makes my heart happy!! Another great moment is my Aunt and my cousin have started planning my baby shower and knowing that it will be here before I know it is super exciting!! Last but not least I can see the kicks on the outside of my belly. So amazing!!

Food cravings:

My latest craving was Beef Enchildas and couldnt wait to eat them. I got so full on chips I could only eat one. So happy John is my garbage disposal and ate the rest!!! We are going to the fair today and cant wait to eat a corny dog!

In-I had my belly button pierced when I was 15 and took it out when I graduated HS. Its starting to stretch alittle.

What I miss?

I could live without pregnancy dreams. They are some of the most vivid dreams I have ever had. The last 3 nights I have dreamed of fighting with someone. Then I dreamed about a friend that got married at the rangers stadium and while she was walking up the aisle she was texting. Ha ha ha....

What I'm looking forward to:

Nov 4 and passing the gestational diabetes test. Even though the doctor has a feeling I might fail it since I had some endocrine issues that sent me to the reproductive endocrinologist to begin with. But my PCOS was not driven by insulin. I had my insulin checked when I was diagnosed and I passed. So we will see. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Milestones:

Im still looking forward to Vday!! But another milestone I cant wait for is getting to do the 3d/4d elective U/S around the beginning of December!!!

Sleep is not the same. The charlie horses are happening at least twice a week. Ive learned some tricks to get them to stop before they go full on.

Best moment this week?

People actually noticing Im pregnant now. Im one of those people that doesn't mind my belly rubbed. At first I thought I wouldn't but seeing the smile on there face makes me happy so why not!!! Here is my recent picture from this past Friday at 21 weeks 2 days:

Ive really popped in the last two weeks!

Food cravings:

Well Paleo isnt going good for me. I think Im just gonna make good choices for the most part. My last craving was due to seeing a picture of someone eating a piece of chocolate chip cookie cake with icing on it. I let the craving linger on for 3 days and couldnt handle it anymore and went to Nestle Tollhouse Cookie Place and got a slice. Oh man it was perfect!! And of course it made me feel awful. So I got on the treadmill and walked for 30 mins on a slight incline with 3lb dumbells. Made me feel better!!

Movement:

The movements are stonger for sure. Now when he moves I will talk to him. I love waking up in the morning and feel my belly because he is moving like crazy. We have been playing him music by headphones to my belly. He really likes it I think. John plays him all kinds of music some I dont even know what it is. He will kick the headphones sometimes. Its so dang cute!

What I miss?

Sleeping for a straight 8 hours without waking up. Think that is over for a very very long time.

What I'm looking forward to:

Going to the doctor tomorrow and hearing everything looks great!! Then to go to the fair and eat some bad stuff!!! Miles wants some too!

Milestones:

The next milestone I cant wait to get over is VDAY! Being 24 weeks and knowing that if something happens the baby will be ok!

Also wanted to share a box I got in the mail from the best online friend that I met on the bump. She is 26-27 weeks pregnant right now and they are team green!! Im so over joyed for her and her husband. Once we found out that we were having a boy she send me this:
