Beginning Stages of the Nursery

Wanted to share the beginning decorations of the room for Miles. As you know we are doing the music/rocker theme! So here are a few pictures:

My nannie is making the bedding/curtains and she is fixing to start working on it. She is gonna try and have it done for my first shower Nov. 5th!!! I"m so dang excited and thankful she is doing this for me!!!

Yes for the most part!

Sleep?

Sleep is sleep. Im use to this getting up stuff!

Best moment this week?

Was John getting to feel the baby move!! It was incredible seeing the look on his face. Priceless!!!Here is my recent belly picture:

Food cravings:

So we have been trying to eat the Paleo way and Im failing miserably. Its super hard to eat clean when your pregnant. So Im eating 75% good and the other bad!! John is doing great! I lost three pounds after vacation and it scared me. Im staying about the same now so we will see how the rest of the pregnancy goes!

Movement:

Yes alot of movement in the morning and evenings. I wake up to movement and the reassurance everything is good is great. Makes me not need to use the doppler as much.

What I miss?

Working out hardcore and running..

What I'm looking forward to:

Seeing my belly grow more and the 30 week 3D/4D Ultrasound we are going to do!

Milestones:

The next milestone I cant wait to get over is VDAY! Being 24 weeks and knowing that if something happens the baby will be ok!

We are Team.......

BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The A/S was perfect! He was so dang handsome!!! His name will be Miles Jackon! She told me that he will not be the smallest baby in the nursery for sure. He is already weighing 13 oz. Almost a pound. I think I freaked out alittle but more calm now. Bring on the big baby!!! Here is the video of the ultrasound from yesterday:




I love that this place records these. I could sit here and watch this everyday!!! At one point he was sucking on his fingers and she wanted him to stop. So she started moving my belly. Our next ultrasound will be a elective 3D Ultrasound around 32-33 weeks!!! Here is first Montana outfit we got while on vacation:

Sleep?

Sleep is ok. Thats about it. I wake up alot to reposition myself and then need to pee. I notice by morning I sleep with my hand on my belly like Im protecting or comforting the baby.  

Best moment this week?

Was going to Montana and spending time with John's mom and step dad. It's so beautiful there. She is making this really cute blanket and is patiently waiting til we know for sure it is Miles or Lila! Here is me pretending to chop wood in Montana at 18 weeks 4 days:

Food cravings:

My biggest craving now is eating good. We ate so bad on vacation Im looking forward to getting back to eating the way we normally do!!

Movement:

Feeling lots of movement after I eat. This morning John got to feel the baby move for the first time. The smile on his face was priceless!!!

Not waking up in the middle of the night ...

The milestone this week is feeling a foot or hand sticking out this morning. FYI that didnt feel to good but was so cool at the same time. Im truly loving this so much!!!!
