Looks like my Little Boy will be here sooner...

Hey ladies!! Wanted to update you guys real quick. I went to the doctor yesterday to do an ultrasound and my final check up before getting induced next week. Well the ultrasound showed I have a big baby in my belly. He is weighing 8lbs 5 oz and my amniotic fluid was on the lower side but he wasnt to concerned about that. I was only dilated 1 cm and 50% effaced. He was worried if I waited til next week the baby would be 9lbs and more of a risk for csection so we are doing the induction tonight.

 I go in at 10 pm tonight to get the cervadil. I cant believe tomorrow I will be holding this little fella that I have been carrying in my belly for 9 months. I think my dog Aubrey the lab knew things were going on. She has been pacing the house for two days. She is about to drive me bonkers.

I truly hope I can do this without having a csection. I need on the good vibes I can get!! Cant wait to post a picture for you guys to meet him!!! I will get John to take a last picture of me tonight and I will post it here!

How far along?

37 weeks 4 days today !!! Holy cow Im having a baby in 17 days. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maternity clothes?

Well I have offically moved into all of John's shirts except for a few that I have left that are comfortable. Bring on the pajama pants! I told John last night on our date night that Im done with Jeans til Miles comes.

Sleep?

No matter what Im up every 2 hours even if its just to look at the clock. I tried benadryl for a few days but it didnt help much.

 

Best moment this week?

Is knowing that I only have 4 more 12 hour shifts after today!!! Im beyond excited.

Food cravings:

Nothing in particular at this point. I have already made a request for the meal I want after I deliver Miles. Chickfila of course!!!!

Gender:

Still a sweet baby boy!

 

Belly button in or out?

Oh its almost out. If I go to my due date it will pop out I just know it.

Movement:

Yes and a lot! I know where his foot and hip/butt are at all times!!! Cant wait to kiss on those feet!

 

What I miss?

Still miss running and you better believe Im counting down the day til I can run again. I have 9 weeks left!!!

What I'm looking forward to:

Im looking forward to seeing the moment John holds Miles in his arms and his heart melts. This little boy has no idea how much he is loved already. I look forward to watching both of us grow as parents! Its gonna be a wonderful and challenging ride that Ive looked forward to my whole adult life!!! Im so blessed to have such a wonderful man to start a family with.

Best moment this week?

Feeling Miles foot going from one side of my belly to the other!! Having my last shower and being spoiled by my coworkers. Thanks for there generosity I was able to get my breast pump for free and almost all the other little things I needed off my registry. Im so blessed to have people that are excited for us!

Food cravings:

 

Anything at this point. Im just always hungry!!

Belly button in or out?

It is so close to being even. Never thought I would see the end of my belly button.

Movement:

OMG yes! He is the most active in the evening. He gets the hiccups at least twice a day. Man its so dang awesome to experience this.

What I miss?

Bending at the waist and not getting short of breath so dang easy.  

What I'm looking forward to:

The day my water breaks!

Milestones

Went to the doctor yesterday for my weekly checkup and Ive been having a ton of braxton hicks so he decided to check me. Im not dilated or effaced at this moment. Dont think he will check me again til 37 weeks unless I tell him I feel like there is tons of pressure. He has decided to not do a ultrasound at 37-38 weeks because my belly is measuring right now track now. Im starting to get guesses on how much he will weigh. My guess is 7lbs 12 oz 21 inches long.

How far along?

On thursday this week I can officially say I have 35 days and Im 35 weeks pregnant. Promise to put a picture up this week. The belly has grown so much. Torpedo looking!!

Maternity clothes?

Yes!!! Went and bought some nursing bras and nursing tops the other day. The nursing top is super comfortable!!

Sleep?

Well sleep has now been hit or miss. Im having nasal congestion issues since Christmas that wont go away. Not being able to breathe is not so fun.

Best moment this week?

My BFPB had her baby 12/28. Almost on John's Birthday!! She so thought she was having a boy and to her surprise it was a girl. She is just adorable and pretty as ever! So happy for her.

Another great moment was John got a Baby Bjorn for his birthday from his dad and we tested it on our cocker spaniel. Here is a picture of a very cooperating Dirk:

Yes a lot! He is getting so strong in there! He has one foot that stays in one spot on my belly and we like to rub it!!

Getting out of bed easy. Its a serious to do getting out of bed.

How far along?

Man time is flying by so dang fast! Watching the little guy in the right hand corner makes each day even more real that this little guy will be here very soon. So as of today Im 32 weeks 4 days!

Maternity clothes?

Yes!!! And John's pajama pants, boxers, work shirts, and tshirts.

Sleep?

Im getting pretty good sleep. Miles still lets me sleep at night and really doesnt wake me up moving to much. It's our boxer Emma that wakes me up the most. I get up to go pee at least once every night. Its a given.

Best moment this week?

Knowing that one of my friends from the Bump might be going into labor any day now. Im so very excited for her!!!! Love ya MrsJT09!

I went to the doctor this past Friday and the doctor measured my belly and it is measuring 3 weeks ahead of my due date. The doctor told me we will be having a big baby!!! We will do a growth ultrasound at 37-38 weeks if I hadnt gone into labor yet and go from there. I told him I would like to be induced on my due date at all possible. So I guess we will see what happens!!

Our 3rd Christmas together!!!

If anyone knows me in real life 3 is by far my favorite number and that number plays a huge role in some important things that have happened to me. So this Christmas is our 3rd time spending it together so I wanted to make it a little special. We decided to do a real tree. I have never had a real tree and so far it has been really good. Its amazing that a tree can live out of the ground for as long as it has. Here are a few pictures to share:
